This is awesome! Many people think that the music industry is coming to an end but infact there's just a revolution happening! The digitalization of the music had to be adopted by the major labels much earlier then they did. Therefore they have a problem today - their business model is outdated - cd's are getting distributed via the world wide web and Itunes as a digital release within minutes and the promotion happens via the new channels like youtube or facebook. Artists are not anymore depending onto traditional promotion tools like print magazines or television but can take action by themselves and start to connect to their audience. The music industry will change within the next 10 years drastically and it will be a process full of reinvention and innvations -let's see where the journey leads us to!
